Do you know what teens think about marijuana?
Ever wonder how to help your child stay out of trouble?
Parents face more challenges than ever to keep their children safe and healthy. Lisa Davidson, Seattle Public Schools Prevention and Intervention Manager, will review different risky behaviors among teens and strategies for helping your child navigate the teen years. The JAMS Counseling Team will provide information on services available to students and families.
Participants will learn:
- JAMS’ 2014 Healthy Youth Survey data, including information on student behaviors/attitudes towards marijuana and other drugs
- Five key parent strategies for preventing risky behavior
- How to start the important conversation with your child
- New marijuana laws and products
- JAMS services for students and families
