Dear JAMS Families-
Help us celebrate our fabulous teachers and staff next week, our first ever Teacher/Staff Appreciation week!
We are throwing a Taco Tuesday and a PJ Brunch on Thursday - and an all-school PJ day on Thursday, too.
YOU CAN BRING IN FOOD OR VOLUNTEER OR. . .
This is a week to say "thanks" to that hardworking librarian who helped your son find a book, the traffic folks who keep you sane in line, the custodian who let you in on the weekend to get that missing backpack, the teacher who stayed after to work with your daughter. . .all of the amazing now almost 80 people who work every day to educate our kids.

ALL SCHOOL PJ DAY FOR KIDS TO SHOW THEIR SPIRIT/APPRECIATION, THURSDAY, MAY 7!
If you volunteer on that day, you don't HAVE to come in your real PJs, anything PJ like in which you want to be seen will be just fine. :)
WRITE A NOTE?
Now is a great time to send in a note of thanks to anyone you haven't had a chance to thank throughout the year! If your kid wants to write a note, they can, too. A box will be in the office from April 30th through May 7th (Thursday to Thursday) in case they don't want to hand them to the teachers directly. ALSO - if you or your child want to share your thoughts of appreciation with ALL the teachers, please send them to Kathryn (see contact info) and they will be included in a "thank you" presentation they will all see (names etc. of kids/parents taken out, of course).
Please send your thoughts no later than next Tuesday, May 5!
ALSO: GOT GIFT CARDS?
Throughout the week, we will be randomly drawing the names of a teacher/staff member for extra appreciation, including some donated gift cards from local businesses. YOU CAN HELP! If you want to donate a gift card or gift that you think a teacher/staff member might like, please contact Kathryn (contact info below).
