About PTSA

Welcome to the Jane Addams Middle School PTSA Website! PTSA stands for Parent Teacher Student Association. PTSA is a volunteer association where parents, educators, students, and other citizens can be active in their schools and communities. 

When you become a member of the Jane Addams Parent Teacher Student Association (JAMS PTSA), you join a community of families and teachers supporting the academic and social needs of our students and our school community. Together  with our teachers and staff we develop our children into inspired, confident learners and citizens of the global community. Click here to learn more about joining.

  • PTSA general meetings for all are held once a quarter. Our next general meeting is in October.  All are welcome! 
  • PTSA board meetings are generally held monthly on the second Monday of the month, 7-8ish p.m., in the school library (in person) or via ZOOM (remote). All are welcome!
  • Become a member of our PTSA! Dues ($15/member) support our JAMS PTSA and Seattle, state and national. Only members are eligible to vote in PTSA elections. Scholarships are always available using the PTSA membership form.

Funding and support from the JAMS PTSA will fuel the enrichment of our children’s education. Membership fees go toward national, state and local council fees, insurance, and other basic JAMS PTSA requirements.
