Volunteers are very welcome at JAMS! You help make our JAMS community vibrant, safe, and FUN! There are many opportunities to use your time and talents to help our middle school students have a successful year! Help is greatly appreciated in a variety of ways from helping as traffic volunteers, at school events, field trips, or sports, to engaging in advocacy, serving on the PTSA board, assisting in the library, and much more!
While most of our opportunities are in-person, we may be posting remote ways you can help during the school closure. Please stay in touch and read the Jaguar News for opportunities to help!
Interested in serving on the board? Here’s a description of PTSA board jobs.
Seattle Public Schools requires all volunteers have paperwork from the current school year on file. Follow this link to print the paperwork and watch the required video. The forms need to be redone every year; the video needs to be viewed only once. You can also pick up forms in the office. When submitting the forms to the JAMS office, don’t forget a copy of your photo ID!
Thank you JAMS Families!
A heartfelt THANK YOU to all the JAMS families for the wonderful, generous ways you support our school staff. Your gifts of tasty food, positive messages, financial support, and volunteered time are continuous reminders of how a caring community makes a big difference in the world.
